Our Center Development Specialist has a BA plus Master's credits in Early Childhood Education coupled with over 5 decades of experience.
The center's Director/Head Teacher holds a BA degree in Early Childhood Education, obtained her license/certification in 1994 and has been with TLP since 1991.
The Administrative Director started with TLP in 1997 as a teacher's aide, learning all the ins and outs of TLP enabled her to obtain her current position as the Center's lifeline.
Stablility of staff at TLP is unequaled: the average length of service of senior staff is over 13 years. Children bond with their caregivers, so staff are selected not only for educational excellence, but commitment and dedication to the growth and caring of children.
Each staff member goes through an intake process which includes; fingerprinting, a child abuse record check, as well as a reference check.
Through In-Service workshops, each staff member receives a minimum of 8 hours professional training each year.
